Naptime

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 27 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 27 August 2026

Naptime is a nap-timing app for parents and caregivers. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, who it is shared with, and how to access or delete it.

Naptime is published by Family Technologies Inc. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Delaware, USA. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@momfia.ai.

1. Information we collect

Account information

Information you enter about a baby

Information stored only on your device

Your chosen alarm sound, alarm volume, and the per-device "pause alerts" setting are stored locally on your phone and are never transmitted to us.

What we do not collect

Naptime contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We do not collect your location, your contacts, your device's advertising ID, or your browsing activity, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

2. How we use information

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and on consent where the law requires it (for example, the notification permission you grant on your device). You can withdraw consent at any time through your device settings or by deleting your account.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. A baby's schedule and nap log are kept until the baby is removed or the last remaining caregiver deletes their account. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our live database immediately (see section 7) and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

Naptime is intended for use by parents and caregivers who are adults. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to create an account. Any information about an infant — a first name and sleep times — is entered by the adult caregiver, not by a child. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support@momfia.ai and we will delete it.

7. Your choices and rights

Access and correction

You can change your display name and schedule data in the app at any time. For a copy of the other data associated with your account, email support@momfia.ai from your account's email address.

Deleting your account

In the app, open the account screen (the person icon on the "Your babies" screen) and tap Delete account. You can also request deletion at naptime.momfia.ai/delete-account.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

For a baby you shared with other caregivers, that baby's data stays with them. Nap-log entries you created remain in that family's history but are disassociated from your identity (your name and account id are removed from them).

EEA, UK and California rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Exercise these rights by emailing support@momfia.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Your account, each baby's schedule, and the nap log are stored on our servers and kept until you delete your account (see section 5). Access to each baby's data is enforced at the database level by row-level security, so only that baby's linked caregivers can read it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

9. International transfers

Our service providers process data in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Naptime after a change means you accept the updated policy.
